William Carson Poe III

Bill was preceded in death by his father, William Carson Poe Jr. He was survived by his loving family: mother, Betty Brewton of Richardson, Texas; wife of 38 years, Dawn, of Plano, Texas; sister, Vicki (Hank) of Austin, Texas; nieces, Courtney and Brittanie; and nephew, Trent.

Bill started his career in the automotive field by winning numerous awards in the Distributive Education Program while attending Richardson High School. He went on to have a fulfilling career for 30 years as a Manager/Service Adviser, retiring at 45 due to illness.

Gardening, photography, and sports of all types were his passion, especially his Cowboys. He loved all animals, including the 4 Labradors that he raised. All preceded him except his beloved yellow Lab, Dusty.

Bill will always be remembered as a loving Son, Husband, Brother, and Uncle as well as a wonderful Friend to all that knew and loved him.

Due to Bill’s wishes there will be no formal services.
