Age 89, long time resident of Irving, Texas passed away on Saturday September 3, 2016 in Irving. Bill was born in Van Zandt County, Texas on November 12, 1926. Bill was a WW II veteran in the US Army and he worked several years as a scheduling clerk for Harvester International until his retirement. Bill was a active member of the Dallas Scottish Rite Freemasonry and the Grand Lodge of Texas Trinity Valley Lodge #1048 until his health failed. Bill was preceded in death by both of his parents, Claude Monroe Maxwell and Essie Blanche Maxwell; and his son Teddy Monroe Maxwell. He leaves to cherish his legacy and memories: a devoted wife of 69 years, Mina Lois Maxwell; daughter: Evelyn Louise Bailey; granddaughter: Dana Renee Bailey; and host of other relatives and friends that will greatly missed Bill. May his gentle soul rest in the warmth of God’s peace.
