William Charles Edwards, Jr. (86) of Richardson passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016, at Presbyterian hospital in Dallas. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Dallas, Texas on January 21, 1930 to William Charles Edwards, Sr. and Dorothy Louise Buhrer. He was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and Southern Methodist University. He also served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from ElectroCom after a career in Human Resources. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Dorothy June Inmon; son Jeff Edwards and wife Melissa; daughters Jill Eason and husband Larry; Jan Holcomb and husband Gary; grandchildren Chad Rawlinson, Bret Rawlinson, Brenna Renta, Jourdan Bieler and Allison Edwards; great grandchildren Presley Wiley and Hudson Renta. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Sparkman-Hillcrest in Dallas.
