William D. “Bill” Addison, a resident of Plano, Texas, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Lord on Saturday, February 12, 2011. He was a devoted father, husband, brother and friend. Bill was born on August 15, 1951 in Wichita Falls, TX, to S. Eugene “Gene” and Dorothy (Willenborg) Addison. Bill grew up in Wichita Falls and Quanah, Texas but his heart and love was at home in Red River, New Mexico. He called it “God’s Country”. Bill’s greatest passion was for his family. He was an avid sports fan, angler and delighted in coaching his sons and attending their football games from pee-wee football through college. Bill loved cooking for friends and family and his culinary creations were consumed by many. Bill was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his many friends, and most of all by his beloved wife Susie, and son Timothy Addison and fiancée Melissa Wolfe and son Christopher Addison. He was preceded in death by his mother and is survived by his father, his sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Butch Hott, sister Terri Addison, and brother Scott Addison as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. A celebration of Bill Addison’s life will take place on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 11:00am at Woodcreek Church, 3400 East Renner Road, Richardson, TX 75082.
