Will accepted Christ at an early age at the Holly Ridge Baptist church, Louisiana under the leadership of Reverend Mansfield. He received a formal education from Alto High School in LA .He graduated from Grambling State University class of 1972 with his bachelor degree. He then became a successful manager at Grandy's restaurant and later was employed by FedEx. After a long day of work Will enjoyed spending time with his Wife Audrey, listening to one of their favorite R&B artist Luther Vandross.
Will was preceded in death by his loving wife: Audrey, daughter: Sheri Leonard Villarreal, Son-in-law Robert Villarreal, parents: Dorothy Leonard Kelly and Sam Henry, Will Henry Stewart, and Sarah Stewart his maternal grandparents.
Will leaves to cherish his brothers and sister, Troy Leonard, Thomas Leonard, Joseph Leonard, sister Sarah Kelly. Sister-in-laws:, Theola Leonard, Cora Leonard, and Debra Leonard, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
