After a hard fought battle with heart disease, Wesley Arthur Rogers passed away on March 28, 2018 at the age of 56. Wesley was born in Dallas, TX on February 13, 1962. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School, graduating in 1980.
Wesley was a devoted father, brother, uncle and friend. Wesley was an avid sports fan. He was a loyal fan to the UT Longhorns, Florida Gators, Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys. Wesley never missed one of his son's football or baseball games and could be heard encouraging them from the sidelines. Wesley loved sipping margaritas at Ojeda's with longtime friends, Lance Stephenson and Sam Monrial along with their families.
Wesley is survived by his devoted wife of 16 years Donna, sons Murphy (13) and Reese (11) sister Susie (Don) Mclean, brother Murphy Rogers, sister Debbie Rogers (Mark) Low, nephews David Crawford, Michael Rogers, Blake Low and nieces Brandi Crawford, Natalie & Caroline Low.
Wesley also leaves behind a host of many more relatives. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Gladys and Frank Rogers.
Wesley was loved and still loved and will be missed deeply by his family and many devoted friends, including his 4-legged companions that never left his side: MJ, Murphy Dawg and Harley Cat.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 1pm with a funeral service starting at 2pm. Both will be at Grove Hill Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Round Rock Baseball League. Donations can be sent to: RRBL PO Box 7081, Round Rock, TX 78683. Please have checks made payable to RRBL and noted as scholarship fund donation for Rogers family.
