September 16, 2022 Virginia C. Moore, at the age of 82, entered into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. After a long battle with Alzheimer's/dementia and other physical disabilities. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-three years, James Moore. Her son, Larry T. Moore, Jr. of Ferris, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Tommy Andrews of Red Oak, Texas. Her brothers, Dean Naylor of Waco, Texas, Lynn Naylor of Livingston, Texas and Lonnie Naylor of Atlanta, Georgia. Her grandson and his wife, Michael Shane and Chelsie Ewing and Virginia's two great granddaughters, Peyton and Preslie Ewing of Waxahachie, Texas and numerous nephews and nieces.
Virginia is preceded in death by her father and mother, Talmadge and Eunice Marie Smith Naylor of Dallas, Texas and her brother, Ray Jackson Naylor of Lake Fork, Texas.
Virginia grew up in Dallas. She attended Sunset High School where she was a majorette. Virginia retired from the United States Post Office after thirty-four years. James and Virginia loved to travel and they enjoyed many years of boating and water skiing. Virginia loved to dance, they went dancing every chance they had. Virginia loved life and her family. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
