Vince Stagliano, of Plano, TX, passed away on January 21, 2020 in Plano, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving father, friend, mentor, and fellow business person to all that knew and loved him.
He was born on May 30, 1928 in Brockton, Massachusetts to Anthony and Millie Stagliano. Vince attended the New York High School of Performing Arts, attended NYU for two years, served two years in the Army during the Korean War, as a member of the General’s Band. He then played French horn for the Minneapolis Symphony, Buffalo Symphony, and for the National Symphony orchestras after his discharge from the Army. Soon after, he moved to California to continue his music career and ended up in real estate. In this career, he met his wife of 59 years, Peggy, and their successes finally led them to Plano, Texas in 1991.
Vince is survived by his wife, Peggy Stagliano, his sons, Tom and Vincent Jr., his daughter, Mary, his 5.75 grandchildren, his great granddaughter, his brother-in-law, John Gourley, his sister-in-law, Mary Gourley, his niece and nephew, Pam and Bob Teeter, and his great nephew, and three great nieces. Vince was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Carmella Stagliano, his nephew, Richard Zerbo, his father, Anthony Stagliano, his sister, Viola Zerbo, and by his brother-in-law, Carl Zerbo.
The Funeral Service will be held at 3 o’clock pm on Friday January 24, 2020 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home. Interment will follow in California the following week at Green Hills Memorial Park.
