Beloved father, husband, grandfather and friend, Vincent Joseph Piccola passed away Sept. 24, 2010 in Dallas, TX. He was born in Dallas Oct. 18, 1949 to Sidney and Joseph Piccola. A lifetime resident of Dallas, he graduated from Woodrow Wilson H.S. in 1969. He was a great lover of rock n roll music, which he shared with each of his children. He worked for Lone Star Gas for 28 years. Vince, as he is known by his friends, was a very caring person, always reaching out to people to see how they were doing, and he will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his wife, Becky Piccola; brothers, Christopher and Jasper Piccola, and both of his parents. Vince is survived by his son, Nicholas Piccola (Rita); two daughters, Theresa Piccola (Michael) and Angela Piccola; grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Mikalyn, and Austin; aunt, Josephine Piccola; sister-in-law, Kathy Tomlin; brother-in-law, Steve Balliew; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM, Monday, Sept. 27 at Sparkman/Crane Funeral Home in Dallas, with recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, Sept. 28 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Dallas 75228. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, TX.
