Victoria Aguilera Ruiz Valdez was a gentle, selfless and loving lady. Always carrying herself with grace and dignity. She was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside. Victoria greatly cherished the bonds of family and friendship, happiest at gatherings where she could be with them, giving vent to her love of dancing and life. She always had a hug for everyone she greeted and a hug for everyone upon saying farewell. She was compassionate and caring, and spoke through love, as she recalled her father telling her to always treat the person who mistreats you with kindness.
The last of her generation, Victoria is now in joyous reunion with her husband Daniel Carreon Valdez and daughter Olga Valdez Herrera.
She is also with her parents Gonzalo and Lucia Ruiz, brother Jose, Vicente, Herminio and sisters Maria Munoz and Paula Ibarra.
Victoria is survived by sons Bruno, Delfino (Olga), Richard (Angie) and daughters Lola (Dora) Zendejas (Joe) and Christine Valdez, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
