Victor J. Medina, age 76, of Dallas, Texas went home to be with his Lord and Heavenly Father on Friday, September 16th. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, Anna Medina and his loving family. He passed away on his 56th Wedding Anniversary.
Victor was adored by his “beautiful wife”, these were the two favorite words he loved to tell Anna, his children, grandchildren and extended family.
He was the oldest son of the late Jose and Guadalupe Medina and the oldest of his siblings Juan, Sylvia, and Patricia. Victor was born in Laredo, Texas in 1940. He was on the varsity football team at Laredo’s Martin High School. Victor earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from SMU in Dallas, Texas. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and brother in-law. One of Victor’s greatest joys was getting together with his family to share time together and enjoy delicious food and create special memories.
Victor was a devout Catholic and attended church with Anna at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Dallas. His hobbies included gardening, playing golf, swimming and other sports.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna, his four children and their spouses Adriene Medina Grimes & Russell Grimes, Victor Medina II, Richard & Shelly Medina and Melissa & Scott Katz. His surviving grandchildren, Tiffany Medina, Richard Medina II, Christopher Medina, Jack Katz and Collin Katz. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses, Juan & Frances Medina, Sylvia & Jim Rahto, and Patricia Medina.
