Venus Rodriguez

She is preceded in death by her maternal great great grandmother Eufemia Lopez and her maternal great grandmother Juanita Torres; her paternal grandparents Eloisa & Alberto Rodriguez.

She is survived by her mother Minerva Ann Arredondo; father Federico Rodriguez; grandparents Patricio and Minerva Arredond; sisters: Sierra Punete (husband Efrain Martinez); Annmarie Ybarra (husband Matthew Banda); Savannah Arredondo, Penny Arredondo and Alondria Rodriguez. Brothers: Ruben Gallegos (wife Leslie Garcia); Brian Arredondo, Nathan Arredondo and Federico Rodriguez Jr.

Her aunts Patricia Hernandez (husband Joey Hernandez); Priscilla and Jorge Rodriguez, Jennifer and Tony Gonzalez and April Ann Arredondo, uncles Vidal and Jerry Arredondo, Victor Arredondo and Patrick Arredondo, and numerous cousins.

Venus was genuinely the best person to be around. She always had a smile on her face and would make you laugh when you were down. She liked to help around the house and would love to help her siblings with homework and would help cook for them. She also enjoyed being with her great grandmother and would take care of her too. She knew how to brighten up a room with her energetic and goofy personality. She also enjoyed making TikTok's, doing hair, makeup and nails. Venus was also a big foodie and had no shame in paying for munchies and slurpees with change. She enjoyed going on family trips and just being around her siblings and cousins. We will always cherish the memories we had with her, and she will always be in our hearts.

A visitation for Venus will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75232. A comittal will occur Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R.L. Thornton Frwy., Dallas, TX 75232.
