She was a 1970 graduate of Mesquite High School. She considered herself a misplaced Californian. She missed San Diego. She lived in Balch Springs, Tx with her family.
She lived a very full life with her husband Bobby and 3 children Tiffany, Damon and Keith . As a family, baseball and soccer were a way of life, when the children were young. Practice 3 days a week and games on Saturdays. All three of her children and her husband played while she kept score. As the kids got older she became very involved with bird rehabilitation. She started at Samuel Farm in Mesquite Tx, where she met Kathy, Teri, Catherine and all her friends from Rogers Wildlife. She would talk about all her friends a lot. Together with her husband and children got involved in Hot Air Ballooning. They went to festivals several times a year. Balloon crewing was a passion of the entire family. The highlight was on their 20th wedding anniversary they were able to attend the Albuquerque Balloon Festival. When her husband passed away she got involved with the senior center at Rutherford Community Center. She did exercise classes and took many day trips with her senior group. She always talked about how much she enjoyed the friends she had made there. She also enjoyed watching her sons play volleyball and rarely missed a game or practice. She was a very active mother, she was always doing something, she never slowed down. She will be missed by many, but especially her cherished family.
She had many names Wife, Mom, Sister, and the one she most cherished Mema.She loved spending time with her grandkids, William, Sarah, Ashly, River, Liliana and Keith.
She is now at peace and reunited with her husband.
She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany and husband John Mitchell of Royse City TX, son Damon and wife Heidi Long of Mesquite TX, and son Keith Long of Balch Springs TX, Her grandkids William, Sarah, Ashly, River, Liliana and Keith.
She is also survived by her sisters Corinne Stiles of Warren OH and Michelle Baker of Arlington TX and brother James Eisenberg of Mesquite, TX. Her nieces and nephews Shane Stiles, Amber Bodnar, Brandie Leslie, Trevor Leslie, Spencer Leslie, and Colby Eisenberg.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Long, mother Charlotte Eisenberg, father Jarold Schnaubelt, step father Jim Eisenberg, and sister Darlene Eisenberg.
