Valencia Miller Lassiter 52, passed away December 26, 2010 at her home in Celina, Texas. She was born September 18, 1958 in Elmira, New York to Billy Dean Miller and Helen Rukat Miller. Sweet and thoughtful, Valencia loved to draw and enjoyed taking photos especially of her family. A loving mother, sister and friend, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Valencia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Brittany Lassiter of Celina; son, Garrett Lassiter of Celina; sisters, Willow Reed of Mesquite and Billie Hinsey of Grapevine; brother, Roger Miller of Irving; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with services to follow at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, TX 75228. Interment: Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
