Ms. Una B. Brown was introduced to Christ and baptized at an early age. Una B moved to Dallas, Texas, in 1954.
Ms. Una B. Brown was a very intellectual scholar and a God-fearing woman. Una B was a
faithful servant of God and a dedicated and passionate Beautiful Gate Baptist Church member. Una B faithfully attended various services, and with her humble, kind-hearted, and giving personality, she created several lifelong friendships.
Ms. Una B. Brown worked in the food industry as a successful cook for various commercial and residential Companies. Hospitality was another one of her passions that extended to caring for her children and family members.
Ms. Una B. Brown is preceded in death by her father and mother – Mr. & Mrs. Charlie & Caddie Brown; three sisters, Lillie Mae Brown, Doris Mae Brown, and Rachel Morrison; and four brothers, Charlie Brown Jr., Johnnie Lee Brown, R.B. Brown, and Raymond Brown, one son Clark Reeves Jr. and her “One of a Kind” granddaughter Atiya “Shay Shay” Brown.
Ms. Una B. Brown leaves to celebrate her light and cherish her memories: one sister Dorothy Jean Brown; two daughters, Debra Neal (Ronald) and Gloria Mayberry (Edward); one son James Lee Brown and daughter-in-law Debbie D. Marshall-Reeves of the late Clark Reeves, Jr.; eight grand-children Shanice Reeves, Broderick Brown, Roderick Brown, Atiya Brown, Jessica Lock, Kevona Handy, Kamesha Wheeler, and Jaque’ Vida; fifteen great grand-children, two great-great grand-children all of Dallas, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives as well as a countless of loving friends.
