Tony M. Rogers, Sr. of Dallas, TX passed away on March 26, 2016 peacefully from the arms of his loving family to the loving arms His LORD. Born October 9, 1935 in Elgin, TX preceded in death by his parents, Pete Rogers Sr. & Carmen Moreno, his first wife Paula G. Rogers, 9 siblings. Survived by 4 brothers & sisters his loving wife Maria G. Rogers of 45 years and 6 children; Tony G. Rogers Jr., Mary Helen Silva, Carmela Tijerina, Lucinda Rogers, Albert Nunez & Ricardo Nunez; 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandson. Tony spent majority of his life in Dallas and one of the biggest accomplishments besides his loving family was the legacy of Rogers Housemoving established in 1946 and is the only remaining house moving business in Dallas. Viewing will be at Gonzalez Funeral Home 3050 N. Stemmons Fwy. Dallas, TX 75247 on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 1 pm - 8 pm, Rosary at 6 p.m. Memorial services on Wednesday March 30, 2016 with mass beginning at 11 a.m. at Gonzalez. Followed by burial services at Calvary Hill Cemetery on Lombardy in Dallas, TX. He was profoundly loved and will be greatly missed.
