Mr. Tommy L. Arnett (Big T), the son of the late Henry and Betty Arnett was born on July 9, 1957, in Marshall, Texas. He attended Marshall Public School and H. B. Pemberton High, then moved to Dallas, Texas, and attended ITT Tech Welding. He was employed at Sewell Plastics from April 2, 1979, to 1992. He was then employed at Grand Prairie Ford as supervisor on the detail department. Later, he took a supervisor position at Granbury Ford. In 1981, Tommy and Donna United in marriage, and to this union a son was born: Nkosi. In 2014, he married Regina Carpenter, becoming the step-father to Kimtisha, Tremale and Quintin. He departed his life on Monday, August 10, 2015, at home, surrounded by family members and hospice nurses and social worker. Proceeding him in death are his mother, Betty S. Arnett; father, Henry Arnett; and brother, Terry W. Arnett. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Regina Arnett; one son, Nkosi (Tricia) Arnett; step-children, Akasha (Orom) Jackson, Dennis Robinson, Tremale (Nene), Kimtisha Scott, Quintin (Gadriel), all of Dallas, Texas; five sisters, Vera (Pete) Woodkins, Beverly Steward, Velma Burton Arnett, Jacqueline Arnett, all of Dallas, and Essie (Arthur) Hurd of Long Beach, California; six brothers, Melvin, Paul, Michael, Alvin and Eric, all of Dallas, Texas, and Henry Arnett, Jr. of Arlington, Texas; 13 grandchildren; one aunt known as Aunt Sally, Azzire Sanders of Marshall, Texas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
