After a long hard fought battle with multiple medical complications, Tiny passed away with dignity surrounded by loved ones. Tiny was born and raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1953. After serving in the army, he dedicated 49 and half years to his career with Southwestern Bell/AT&T.
Tiny was the second of 7 sons born to the late Clarence W. and Ruby Lee Cole. He was husband to the late Laura Wadley Cole and is survived by his loving wife Eva Sharp Cole and his only child, Troy Lee Cole. Tiny joins his parents and brothers, Nick and Tommy, in Heaven. He will be forever remembered and missed by his devoted brothers Lee, Charles, Tex and Rex; his treasured grandchildren Karlie and Nathan Cole and countless other caring family members and friends who were blessed to know him. Tiny played tennis for many years and was the dew knocker every Sunday morning at Tennison Golf Course until his health kept him from his weekly 18 holes with Troy and best friend Andy. Although he enjoyed tinkering with projects around the house, he mostly loved and cherished his fellowship with family and friends. He was a true role model for his son, his brothers and his fellow employees at Ma Bell.
Tiny touched the hearts of everyone he encountered with his selfless giving and kind heart and always put others before himself. He left thanking everyone for all they had done for him while keeping his sense of humor to the very end. We can never thank Tiny enough for ALL he has done for those fortunate to have known him.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the funeral home.
