Rev. Thomas J. Norvell, 95, of Dallas, Texas passed away November 11, 2016. He was born on May 4, 1921 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Thomas was a former pastor at Harvest Baptist and Quietwood Baptist Church, a decorated WWII veteran and 75 year member of Carpenter’s Local 198/429. He is survived by loving wife of 74 years, Delene Norvell; daughter, Delores Cady and husband, Preston of Mesquite, Texas; son, Ronnie Norvell and wife Cheryle of Scurry, Texas; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 12 great- great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17 from 6-8 pm at Grove Hill Funeral Home and services being held on Friday, November 18 at 10 am at Grove Hill Funeral Home.
