Thomas James Curley, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. Tom was born February 24, 1935, to Thomas and Edith (Ash) Curley in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cheryl Sternberg, his sons, Dr. Steven Curley and wife Natalie and Brian Curley, four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, with reception and burial to follow.
Tom was a passionate apparel and accessory wholesale representative until his passing. A career that began as a professional baseball player developed into his greatest joy, playing senior softball where he garnered numerous national championships and developed friendships throughout the country.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s or the charity of one’s choice.
