Thomas H. Chambers Sr. was born in Dallas, Texas August 7, 1923. He attended Dallas schools and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He later attended Draughons Business School.
He joined the Air Force during World War II. He spent 36 months in the Air Force, some of the time in Japan. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 35 years of service. He married his wife, Mildred, August 30, 1946.
They had one son, Thomas H. Chambers Jr. who passed away June 4, 2001. He is survived by his wife Mildred.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 1, 2016 at 2:00pm at Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
