Theresa Frances O’Sullivan a resident of Lexington, KY died during the afternoon of December 22, 2013 at the Medical Center of Plano, TX. Her passing was attributable to complications following hip surgery, after a fall while visiting her large loving family north of Dallas. Theresa was born in Staten Island, NY February 4, 1933, the youngest of the four children of Hans Wagner and Paula Dimpfl, immigrants to America from the small Bavarian city of Cham, Germany. For a brief period she was a child-care teacher and nanny, but mainly she lived her life as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, whose endless showing of affection and thoughtfulness will forever be remembered by her grieving family. Her brother Johann died an infant in Germany; her sister Pauline Heineman of Weehawken, NJ and her brother Richard of Lancaster, PA also preceded her in death. She is survived by Thomas her spouse of 63 years, her devoted, loving daughters Linda Gardner of Frisco, TX and Deborah Hahn of Little Elm, TX and her son Thomas of Lexington, KY; grandchildren Colleen and Ralph Gastiaburo III, Kelly, Shannon and Ryan Hahn, Blaise Gonzales; Brendan and Kasey O’Sullivan; and Kevin and Kaitlin Gardner; great-grandchildren Brittany, Rene, Joey, Alexandria, Jacob, Javier, Ralph IV, Briana, Braden, Ryan II, Jax, Marcos, Jack, Gabe, Reese, Braden, Ava, Piper, Devin, Blaise II, Noah, and Liam, and great-great grandchildren Isaiah, Alyssa and Caleb. A requiem mass will be celebrated January 8, 2014, after which her remains will be laid to rest in a columbarium at Calvary Hill Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. Theresa’s family wishes to thank the many Medical Doctor’s and the staff of Medical Center of Plano who participated in providing the dedicated professional care and attention she received during her struggle. Memorials should be made to the American Diabetes Association and the Kidney Foundation of Central Kentucky.
