Theresa Lynn McKissick Dopp, age 60, of Wimberley, went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2017. Born in Dallas, TX to Dorothy and Owen McKissick on April 18, 1957, she was the oldest of 6 children. Not long after graduating ahead of schedule with honors from Carter High School in Dallas, Theresa met and fell in love with Terry Lee Dopp of Rockwall. In 1977, she was married and started a career as a devoted housewife, homemaker, mother of two, and ‘room mom.’ Theresa is preceded in death by her mother and father, Dorothy and Owen, husband Terry, brother Owen, and sister Sharon. She is survived by her brother Carl McKissick and wife Vicki of Red Oak, sister Lorrie McKissick Gonzales and husband Javier of Maypearl, brother Craig McKissick and wife Shana of Dallas, son Daniel Dopp and fiancee Lindsay Bock of Dallas, daughter Tracy Young and husband Ben of Wimberley, granddaughters Jaci and Jenna Young, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Theresa was surrounded by love throughout her life and at the time of her passing. Those who knew her will remember her unwavering faith in God, her beautiful smile, and her unconditional love for her family. She will be greatly missed.
