Mrs. Teresa V. Rodriguez

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother passed away in Dallas, Texas surrounded by her loving Family on December 21st, 2021 at the beautiful age of 72.  Born on October 15th, 1949 in the city of Lubbock, Texas to parents Soilo Angel Velasquez Sr. and Antonia Velasquez from Lubbock and San Angelo, Texas.  She was a loving wife to Hijino Rodriguez Sr. for 52 years.  She touched the lives of so many people while she was on this earth and would gladly help anyone in need.  Teresa raised her children to always help each other out and be there for each other when the need was there.  Teresa will always be remembered for the love she had for her family and the loving care she always gave to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Teresa would always love to take her children to the places they loved to go to especially the movie theater.

Teresa is proceeded in death by her father Soilo A. and mother Antonia Velasquez, sisters Josephine Velasquez, Juanita Villegas, Norma Velasquez and brother Esteban Velasquez.   

Teresa’s memory will be kept alive and cherished by her husband Hijino Rodriguez Sr, sons and wives: Hijino Jr & Yolanda Rodriguez, Richard S. & Teresa Rodriquez, Michael & Sabrina Rodriguez, Ysidro & Leticia Rodriguez and David & Monica Rodriguez, Siblings Consuelo Velasquez, Mary Velasquez, Ricardo Velasquez, Margie Velasquez, Genaro Velasquez and Sam Velasquez, 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. 

A visitation for Teresa will be held:

Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Singing Hills Funeral Home.

A funeral service will occur:

Friday, December 31, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Singing Hills Funeral Home.

A committal service will occur:

Friday, December 31, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
