Teresa Cordova Nava, age 94, passed away May 13, 2019 in Red Oak, Texas. She was born November 24, 1924 in Veracruz Mexico to Fernando Nava and Porfiria Cordova. In her spare time, Teresa enjoyed cooking, church and family time. Her family and friends will always remember her as a feisty, hardworking, and an outspoken person who loved watching the show, Don Francisco. Teresa Cordova Nava is preceded in death by her son, Gilberto Thomson; sisters, Cache Nava, Alfonsa Nava; brothers, Estevan Nava, and Isabel (Chavelo) Nava. She is survived by her sister, Clementina Gonzales; nephew, Larry Abeyta; niece, Mary Abeyta Degelia and her spouse, John Degelia along with Vita Nava, Eva Rodriguez, Emily Marie Thomson, Itzel Thomson and many more family members in Texas and Mexico. She will especially be missed very much by her niece, Mary Abeyta Degelia.
