Tammie Jean Hester Bennett was born April 3, 1965, in Dallas, Texas to Johnny and Jeannie Hester Jr. She was a surprise being the first girl born in nine generation of boys. She was the last of three children raised in the Dallas / Ellis area.
She married Danny in 1982 and she graduated from Ennis High School in 1983.
Tammie accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at early age. Throughout her life, GOD was a central part of all she did. Her ability to sing was always the best when she praised GOD. When the doctor told Tammie there was no fixing what she had. She stated, “It’s time to meet Jesus” and was content to start the voyage.
Tammie’s wanted to be a stay-at- home mother and wife. Her favorite past time was crafting flowers arrangements, reading her books, and sitting on the back porch listening to nature and feeling the fresh air. She enjoyed listening to her collection of wind chimes while playing on the IPAD watching the squirrels tease the dogs.
She enjoyed being with family and whenever she and Danny went out – she wanted to shop.
Preceded in death by her mother, father and both grandparents; Tammie is survived by her husband, Danny of 41 years; her son and his wife, Johnathan and Angela Bennett of Euless, and adoptive daughter; Haley McAnally of Rowlett.
