Tameka attended public school in Irving ISD from elementary to high school. Committed to forging a successful life for herself, Tameka obtained her Associate Degree from Northlake College and later received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Phoenix. Tameka served dutifully as a manager at Santander until her demise.
While pursuing her bachelor’s degree, Tameka met her soulmate, Kaylan Bell. They dated and went on to marry in 2015. Their love was unmatched and to this union two beautiful girls, Mekayla and Skylar were born. Meka, as she was fondly called, loved her family with her whole heart and sought to fulfill her role as wife and mother with undying love and affection.
To know Tameka was to love her. Her heart was big, her love unconditional, her kindness immeasurable and her loyalty unquestionable. On August 11, 2020 at 4:17 pm, the qualities that made her so loveable transcended her earthly tabernacle to a home not made by the hands of man.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, Kaylan Bell; two precious daughters, Mekayla and Skylar; two wonderful bonus children, Jaylan and Eva; loving parents; Billy Harris (LaVenta) and Camille Harris; grandmother, Margaret Combs; mother and father-in-law; Demetria and Ned; one sister, Nicole Harris; one brother, Austin Harris; 3 sisters-in-law, Whitney, Nedra and Lakendria; 4 aunts, 4 uncles and a host of cousins and dear friends. Tameka is preceded in death by her grandparents Travis Webb, Catherine Pipkins, Virgil Pipkins Sr. and uncle Virgil Pipkins Jr.
