Tammy met the love of her life, Johnny Alcala in 1980. They were married in 2012. They enjoyed traveling Shreveport and Oklahoma to the casinos.
Tammy graduated from Irving High School. She held various positions in the retail market place during her working years. Tammy enjoyed crocheting, helping people, cooking and baking. She crocheted blankets for friends and family. Tammy liked to help people and was often a caretaker to the elderly. During the holidays, she enjoyed visiting with her Aunt “Punk” and baking desserts and casseroles. Tammy had four cats; Milo, Munchkin, Sylvester, and Cry-Baby that provided a great deal of joy to her.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Dewyane Vaught. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Alcala; mother, Terri Hart; daughters, Christi and Sarah; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Dusty Earnhart; sister, Kelly Merrit3. In addition, four half-brothers, Jeff, Richie, Chris and Travis Vaught; aunts, Geniva “Punk” Helbert Judah and Nancy Gales. Tammy is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
