Sylvia was born in Dallas, TX on January 21, 1957 to Jose and Juanita Molina. She graduated from Sunset High School in Oak Cliff . Sylvia was a devoted and loving partner to Federico Cortez III, they were together for 20 beautiful years.
Sylvia worked as an administrative assistant for Dallas ISD for 30 plus years. She enjoyed being a mom, a Memaw, arts and crafts, watching the Rangers, going to the casino and listening/dancing to Tejano music.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her father, Jose Molina Sr., mother Juanita Molina, her son Angel Flores, brother-in-law Francisco Hernandez, niece Elsa Garcia, nephew John Garza, and great nephew Alberto Garcia.
Sylvia is survived by partner Federico Cortez III, daughter Jessica Martinez and Son-in Law Alexander Martinez, son Paul Flores and Daughter-in-Law Kathleen Flores, grandchildren Clarissa Martinez, Isabella Flores, Paul Flores II, Alexa Martinez, Kaitlyn Martinez, brothers/sisters and their spouses Guadalupe Hernandez, Gloria and Mario Quevedo, Yolanda and Paul Davila, Jose Jr and Gloria Molina, Rosa and Henry Garza, Angelica and Guadalupe Villanueva, Paulita and Joe Jr. Morales, Bertha and John Rodarte, Estella Molina, Mario Molina and Anita Espinosa, 20 nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

A visitation for Sylvia will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary will occur Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 6:30 PM. A mass of christian burial will occur Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
Sylvia will be laid to rest in Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Ln, Dallas, TX 75220-3338; GARDEN OF LIVING FAITH SOUTH; Lot: 74C, Grave: 4.
