Knopf, Sylvia Lichtman, 90, of Dallas, Texas, died peacefully the evening of Friday, December 21, 2018. Born in Wyszków, Poland, youngest child of Leah (Dybner) and Yitzhak Lichtman, she and her loving husband, Sidney Knopf, survived the Holocaust and immigrated to Texas in 1949. She was preceded in death by Sidney and her grandson, Trevor Morton. She is survived by her daughters Lillian Knopf and Hedy (Bruce) Meltzer and grandchildren Josh (Lesleigh) Morton, Marisa (Paul Robertson) Morton, Michael Meltzer, and Julie Meltzer. Services at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 24. Shiva at the home of Hedy and Bruce. In lieu of flowers, kindly make contributions to Dallas Holocaust Museum.
