Susan Vaughan Becker, 64, passed from this life on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Laurel Land Memorial Park at 6000 South R.L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service at 203 Silverwood Drive, Mansfield. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Network (pancan.org) or National Kidney Foundation (kidney.org). Susan was born on January 22, 1952 to Joseph and Joyce Clanton in the United Kingdom. She graduated from Sunset High School in Oak Cliff in 1970 where she made many friendships that would last a lifetime. She married her best friend, Charles (Chuck) Vaughan, in 1975. Chuck and Susan were married for 37 years before Chuck’s death in 2012. Together they raised their two children, Michelle and Charley. Susan worked for several banks during the course of her career before retiring in 2007. After retiring, Susan enjoyed her dogs, boating, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her sista’s. In 2014 Susan met and married the love of her life, Timothy (Tim) A. Becker of Wisconsin. Tim was by her side until she was called home on October 16, 2016. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Joyce Clanton; brother, Joseph David Clanton; and first husband, Charles Mark Vaughan Senior. Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Timothy Becker; her daughters, Monica Vaughan and Michelle Woodall; her son, Charles Mark Vaughan Junior; her son-in-laws, Doug Goodrich and Brandon Woodall; her grandchildren, Brandi Woodall, Garrett Woodall, Trevor Goodrich, Lauren Goodrich; and many loving friends and family members.
