Shirley Nell Kethley Roberson passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017 at her home in Dallas, Tx. She was 93. She was born on November 16, 1923 in Munday, Tx. She graduated from Abilene High School and then attended what is now known as TWU in Denton. She is preceded in death by her only son, Gary Frank Roberson and her first born daughter, Lynn Roberson Phillips. She is survived by Frank, her devoted husband of 75 1/2 years, daughters Debbie Roberson Dollinger, Karen Roberson Lacey and her husband Kyle, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She married Frank on July 9th, 1941. She worked at JCPenney and retired after 20 years. She and Frank attended St. Mark Presbyterian Church for about 60 years where they joyfully sung in the choir for 45 years. Shirley was an easy going spirit that was quick to laugh and loved life. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date at St. Mark Presbyterian Church.
