Sherry Irene Deeds

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Anna Wimberly; brother, Mack Wimberly; and son-in-law, Kirk Cook.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Mike Morones; sons, Billy Jack and James Ray Deeds III; grandchildren, Meagan, Kristopher, and Eric Grinnell; step grandchildren, Julia, Mia, and Olivia Morones; great-granddaughter, Anastasia Marie Lewis; sister-in-law, JoAnn Wimberly; niece, Jenna and husband Terrance Pires; nephew, Jack Wimberly; cousin, Kathy Fowler and husband Roger; and her best friends, Jill Azaria and Linda Duval.

Sherry worked at Southwest Feed Mills with her father and brother from 1976 until it closed. She loved life and lived life to the fullest. Sherry said she had “The most fun with her kids.”

The family would like to thank Dr. Eric Nadler at Baylor Sammons Cancer Center and the staff at Pickens Baylor Cancer Hospital, 5th floor, for the wonderful care she received.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Mesquite, 300 N. Galloway, Mesquite, TX 75149.

In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorials in Sherry's name be made to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org.
