Sharon McCormick Sullivan was born in Chicago, IL on May 31, 1949, and passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. She is survived by her son Michael Sullivan, son Sean Sullivan (Naomi), and son Brian Sullivan (Jennie); grandchildren Brendan, Courtney, Bailey, Brody, Grace, Kennedy, Jude, and Henry; great-grandchildren River, Laikyn, and Wyatt; her brothers Tom (Sue) and Jim (Yolanda) sisters Janet Maher (John), Mary Lynn Barnard (Charlie), and Maureen Hoofard (Ron). She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Frances McCormick, her sister Susan, brothers Timothy, John, Brian, and daughter Shannon Sullivan.
Sharon and her family moved to Dallas in 1962, and she graduated high school from Ursuline Academy of Dallas. She attended the American Airlines Stewardess College and graduated in April 1969, and was stationed at the American Airlines Stewardess Base in New York City. After her career as a stewardess, she moved back to Dallas where she started her family and continued to work. Sharon spent most of her career working for Kroger and retired after 27 years.
Sharon was a devout Catholic and attended St. Monica Catholic Church in Dallas, TX. She had a heart of gold—compassionate, selfless, and always putting others before herself. Her kindness touched everyone she met, and her caring spirit will be deeply missed.
