On Monday, December 27th, Sharon Diane Pease, devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother of Richardson, Texas, passed away at age 77. She was born in Bradley, South Dakota to Helen and Clint Parliament. She graduated from Bradley High School and earned her nursing degree from Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and her bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M Commerce.
On January 25, 1969, she married the love of her life, Tommy Pease. Sharon was a registered nurse for 52 years and was lovingly referred to as the family nurse for any family or friends needing health advice. Recognized in the Who’s Who of Nursing, everyone she encountered knew she was a top-notch nurse.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years and 11 months, Tommy; her son and daughter-in-law Edward and Jennifer Pease and their three children Nakyta (21), Gwen (10), and Maddox (3); her daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Jerad Dickey and their two children Meryl (9) and Logan (5 months); her 4 siblings Nerine, Marilyn, Al, and Jack; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, family, and friends too numerous to list, but not forgotten.
She retired in 2018 and loved spending time with her husband traveling through the United States, Central America, and various Caribbean islands. She and Tommy were two peas-in-a-pod, always together and enjoying life doing the things they loved: golfing, bowling, going to hockey games, spending time at the lake, and quiet nights at home playing cards. Sharon loved her grandchildren dearly and never missed an opportunity to be with them. Whether it was coming to school functions, cheering them on at sports, or everyday grandma babysitting duties, she was always there for them.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 3rd, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, Texas, 75252.
