Sharon Marie Moore

Sharon Moore “Mimi” was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a fearless, sweet spirit that will always resonate in our souls. She was never without a smile, and never met a stranger. Sharon’s courageous fight through three rounds of breast cancer and subsequent lung cancer came to a peaceful end on August 27, 2014.

Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years, Tom, brother, Mark Cannary of Austin, son, Bryan Moore of Richardson, daughter, Paige Moore of Dallas, daughter in law Michelle and grandchildren Macy (8), Bryce (6) of Richardson.

Sharon’s passion was spending time with family and hosting family feasts during holiday seasons. When she was not helping as a caregiver, she was busy taking care of her beloved animals Sassy, Barkley, and Molly. Her favorite escape was spending time at the family’s lake house, sitting on the back porch watching the grandkids at play.

Her departure has left us with

A grief that cannot be spoken

A pain that goes on and on

A void that cannot be filled

Until we meet again

Sharon was an avid supporter of Susan G. Komen and participated in several years of Race for the Cure. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Sharon’s personal memorial page, in her honor.
