Scott was born on November 5th, 1967, in Biloxi, Mississippi to Carl and Jeanne (Antaya) Edwards. Throughout his childhood, Scott and his brothers lived all across the country and abroad in Italy during Carl's time serving in the US Air Force; instilling a passion for travel that would continue throughout his life.
Scott graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and soon after met the love of his life, Stacy Whites. They were married on June 9th, 1995, in Jamaica.
Scott's pride and joy were his three daughters, Adrienne, Lindsay, and Bailey; he could often be found supporting them at softball games or in the theatre. When not at the softball field or the theatre, he enjoyed spending time on his sailboat or smoking brisket in his smoker.
Scott was known for his kindness, humor, and big smile. He touched numerous lives serving as a mentor to many in his work and as a softball coach for several years. Scott will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Scott is survived by his wife Stacy; daughters Adrienne, Lindsay, and Bailey; parents Jeanne and Carl; brothers Glenn and Jeff (Courtney); and numerous relatives and friends.
The family asks for donations be made to the Head for the Cure Foundation supporting brain cancer awareness and research in lieu of flowers.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00am on Saturday, January 27th at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 PGBT, Dallas, TX 75252.
