Sara Grace (Wilson) Dixon went to be with her Lord, February 27, 2025. After a short illness, she went peacefully and of natural causes. She was content and happy with the long, good life God had given her. She was born to Taylor and Goldie Wilson, August 23, 1933. All of her loved ones have gone before her. She was raised in Oak Cliff, and graduated from Adamson High School. In her thirties, she earned her real estate license.
She retired from Hartford Insurance, and went back to work at Pastoral Counseling for 20 more years, and retired again. She worked until she was 81. After that, she did volunteer work for many years. She was a go-getter. Always on the move. She loved her faith and family. She took care of her mother for almost 9 years, after she had a massive stroke. She loved people, and helped everyone. Very involved in her Deborah Sunday School Class, and her church, Lakepointe Church - East Dallas (formerly Lakeside Baptist). She was a member for 30 years. She loved her church family.
She was an excellent social director. She took her friends to the best restaurants all over town for years. And, took them to wonderful plays/musicals. She had her annual 4th of July breakfast for many, many years also.
She was a member of Hardy Listeners’ Book Review Club for decades. And, White Rock Newcomer’s Club.
She was a wonderful daughter, mother, and friend.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Snygg. And, many true and wonderful friends.
