Sandra Lester Morris, age 82, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Sandra was born on December 12, 1941 to William Harris Lester and Idris Mae Dale Lester. She was born as a third generation Texan in Dallas, Texas.
Sandra graduated from Mesquite High School and earned an Associate's Degree in Business from Eastfield College, also in Mesquite. She was a member of the Toastmaster Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and was past Matron in the Dal-Cliff Chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She traveled with her husband around the world for 21 years as he served in the US Army. Sandra retired as a Special Agent for the Federal Communications Commission after 40 years of service. She was also a 50-year member of the Presbyterian Church of Mesquite.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Idris; sisters, Francis Elaine Lester and Judy H. Lester Austin; brother, Bob G. Shields; her husband of 54 years, Jesse W. Morris, and daughter, Brenda W. Morris Fogg.
She is survived by her son, Jeffery D. Morris and wife Shannon Morris; grandson Alan Graziadei; granddaughter Felicia M. Fogg; sister, Sarah K. Lester Tunis; Zack Wilkerson; Jess Hill; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Sandra's services will be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park at, 3920 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX, and Interment will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
