Samuel Abarca

Samuel Abarca, age 89, passed away on May 17, 2023 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Mexico on August 18, 1933 to the late Roman Abarca Valle and Basilisa Villaseñor. He is preceded in death by his sister Margarita Abarca. Samuel is survived by his beloved wife Lorena Abarca; children Samuel and his wife Graciela Abarca, Susana and husband Felix Maldonado, Alberto and his wife Sandra Abarca; Siblings Javier, Alicia, Graciela, Ofelia,Teresa,Refugio, Yolanda, Raul, and Gloria Abarca. He is also survived by his grandchildren Samuel Abarca Jr, Allison Abarca, Samantha Maldonado, Felix Maldonado, Nicolas Maldonado, Zoe Maldonado, Sandy Abarca, and Mia Abarca

A visitation for Samuel will be held Monday, May 22, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a 6:30PM Rosary at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2255 N. Bonnie Brae St., Denton, TX 76207. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Dr., Denton, TX 76207.
