Salvador Garza Jr.

Garza, Salvador Jr. Age 72, passed away on October 7, 2017 in Dallas, TX. He was born on September 29, 1945 in Dallas, TX to Salvador and Consuelo Garza. Salvador was raised in Dallas, TX and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1974. Salvador served his country proudly as an Airman in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and served on the USS LaSalle. Salvador was an entrepreneur who opened and ran several businesses throughout his lifetime ranging from the restaurant industry to the Finance industry. In his spare time Salvador loved visiting Las Vegas, attending boxing matches and shooting dice. He had a giving heart and loved family gatherings at his favorite restaurants. He loved spending time with his granddaughters. He is survived by his Spouse, Linda Maxwell; Son & Daughter-in-law, Christopher & Cristy Garza; Granddaughters, Jacqueline & Isabella Garza; Sister, Yolanda Cantu as well as numerous cousins and friends. Rosary will be held 6:30pm Wednesday October 11, 2017 at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Please join the family Thursday October 12, 2017 for 1:30pm Memorial Service at Gonzalez Funeral Home. He will be dearly missed.
