Mrs. Ruby Lee Busby, age 78, of Desoto, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Ruby Lee Busby was born February 17, 1944, in Corsicana, Texas. She received her formal education from G.W. Jackson High School and Navarro College.
She worked for Social Security Administration before retiring. She was a member of Cliffwood Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by father Howard Green, mother Hallie Green and sister Stormy Lewis.
Survivors include devoted husband Roosevelt Busby of DeSoto; one son, Darrell Curry (Katherine) of Arlington, TX; one grandson, Patrick Curry (Laina) of Austin, TX.
Sister Nellie Collins, brother Joe Green; nieces Lisa Curry, Deborah Curry, Sonya Slaughter, Leonetti Slaughter, Chandra Thomas and Nyrasha Guy, Courtney Wilson; nephews Gregory Collins (Janice) Jeffery Curry (Janine), Harvey Leon Slaughter, and a host of cousins, friends and church family.
