Ruben was raised in Burnet, TX. He Married Concepcion in 1953 and the couple had two Children's. He was a Business Owner of The Ruben Co. where he worked for mote than 30 years.
In his spare time Mr. Montemayor enjoyed playing his Violin as a part-time Mariachi Musician by entertaining people and he was well respected as a Musician in the Mariachi Community.
His family and friend will always remember him as a kind, friendly and the way he enjoyed telling stories about old times. Also, by the way he loved to practices his violin.
He is preceded in death by Andrew R. Montemayor, Joseph Montemayor, Trini Guerra, Juanita Pol.
Survived by: Charles Montemayor, Ruben Montemayor Jr., Rose Mary Mack, Gloria Farmer, Rene R. Montemayor, four Grandchildren's and two Great-grandchildren's.
