Rosenell Marie Witherspoon Grizzard, 89, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at her home in Mesquite. She was born in Ferris, Texas June 27, 1927. Rosenell graduated from Ferris High School. She was married to Ernest Grizzard on September 3, 1948. Rosenell worked in secretarial positions and did volunteer work. She is survived by her husband Ernest, Brother Jerry Witherspoon of Blue Springs, MO,, son Brian, grandson Adam, and granddaughters Laura Padgett of Hurlburt Field, Florida, and Anna Grizzard, and great grandson Mason Padgett. Rosenell was loved by her many friends and family and will be missed dearly. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., May 31, at Sparkman-Crane Funeral Home on Garland Road, Dallas. Those who wish may make a donation to Macular Degeneration Association.
