Rosemary S Stevens Kaldahl

KALDAHL, Rosemary Stevens, passed away in Dallas, TX on June 26, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 6, 1924 in New York City and grew up in the Bronx. She was married to Wesley G. Kaldahl on January 8, 1949. He was her lifelong love. They were married for 52 years and together raised 8 children. Rosemary was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church until her move to St. Joseph’s Village in July of 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wes, her parents, Mary and Frank Stevens, her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Mary Stevens and her brother-in-law Vincent Wyer. She is survived by her eight children, Steven Kaldahl and his wife, Ruth of McKinney, Texas, Susan Halsted and her husband Duke of Denton, Texas, Scott Kaldahl and his wife Carolyn of Miami, Florida, Mary Beth Kaldahl of Dallas, Texas, Greg Kaldahl and his wife Bich-Lien of Inverness, Illinois, Jerry Kaldahl, Patricia Brown and Elizabeth Malone, all of Dallas, Texas; 15 grandchildren, Jeffrey Kaldahl and his wife, Autumn, Gary Kaldahl and his wife, Kelly, and Ryan Kaldahl, Barry Gamache, Emily Halsted, Dawn Marie Kaldahl, Kristen Cruz and her husband Javo, John Mark and Peter Kaldahl, Taylor and Casey Kaldahl, Haleigh Brown, Leah, J.P. and Matthew Malone as well as 4 great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her sister, Anne Wyer, and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. Rosemary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be deeply missed. The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday from 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm at The Ted Dickey Funeral Home 8011 Frankford Road, Dallas, TX 75252.

They will also receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a vigil Service to follow at 7:00 pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral ome 8011 Frankford Rd. Dallas, TX 75252. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church on Thursday, at 11:00 am. Entombment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
