Rosemary Stephenson Graham was born August 2, 1942 in Portsmouth, Virginia and passed away November 19, 2016 at the age of 74. She was the only daughter of Lester Burke “Steve” Stephenson and Hermina “Hattie” Prasifka. Rosemary grew up in Dallas and attended St. Edwards Catholic School.
In 1966, Rosemary married the love of her life, Raymond Graham. Rosemary spent her time raising their four children and being a supportive wife to Ray. She earned her Real Estate license and sold Real Estate for many years in the Dallas area. She was a sought after Realtor and won many Top Producer awards. Rosemary has always been there for her children and has greatly impacted their character as adults and parents themselves.
Rosemary loved the Lord and being a Catholic. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and proudly served there as a Eucharistic Minister. When she was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago, she courageously fought it. She was a firm believer that God would never give her more than she could handle and that He always had a reason for where she found herself. As her battle with cancer continued, it became more and more important to her to initiate conversations with others about her faith and share the strength it gave her. She wanted everyone to know the love and peace of God. Her doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and caretakers formed a true friendship with Rosemary. They took great pride in assisting Rosemary throughout the stages of her disease.
Rosemary was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
While Rosemary will be missed, we find comfort knowing that she is with our Dad, her mother and father, and so many others who have passed before her. Rosemary is survived by her four children: Laurie Graham Wheeler, Suzanne Graham Phistry, Stephen Michael Graham and Raymond Matthew Graham. Rosemary was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2-4pm, with a Rosary Service beginning at 4pm in Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11am in St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plano.
