Rosemary Ellen Gibbs

Rosemary Gibbs, of Richardson, passed away August 26, 2011. Rosemary was a gentle, loving wife and mother, exhibiting high moral standards and dedication to her family, and loved by so many friends everywhere. After retiring from Safeco, Rosemary was a volunteer at Methodist Richardson Medical Center for over 17 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Cecilia Cronin, husband of almost 50 yrs Phil, brother William, and granddaughter Julianna Kathleen, Rosemary is survived by children Philip F Gibbs and wife Karen of Garland, Brian R Gibbs and wife Sherry of Plano, Maureen P Nolte of Richardson , Daniel P Gibbs and wife MaryAnne of Murphy, and Dennis J Gibbs and wife Ginger of Richardson; grandchildren Katie Cook and husband Adam, Kevin Gibbs, Keith Gibbs and wife Rebekah, Blake Gibbs, Austin Gibbs, Megan Nolte, Daniel Nolte, Nicholas Gibbs, Brendan Gibbs, Jillian Gibbs, Garrett Gibbs, Payten Gibbs, Casey Gibbs, and DJ Trevor Gibbs; great-granddaughters Abigail and Dylan Cook; brother Richard Cronin and his wife Marie, sister-in-law Mildred Cronin; and 11 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 6 pm to 9 pm with a recitation of The Rosary at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Richardson with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
