Hi Ron, you came across my mind today while I was listening to Jerry Jeff Walker. I wanted to say hi, and thank you for being so kind to me. You are missed.

Dennis and I will miss Ron's laughter and great sense of humor.  He would always make the situation brighter just by his presence.  I'm so glad we got to see the whole family at his funeral.  He would have been so proud of the way his family worked together and kept Becky close at hand.  We will all miss him.  He was such a special person.

Ron will be greatly missed. He was such a kind and gentle soul , and loved his family beyond everything else. He was such a hard worker and went above and beyond to provide a good life for his family. Now that Ron has gone " Over yonder " we will have great memories of Ron , his sense of humor, his love of life and family.

I will always remember seeing Ron at every single event volunteering. Whether it was for the church or Hexter, he was always there. I'm going to miss seeing him.

Ron was a very sweet gentleman .  He came to the Monday Night Jam we had and always  so polite, well mannered, and a Christian man.  Bob and I used to sing a song “Every  Drop of Water”, he had asked me last Monday to please sing it, and I said, sure I’ll try to sing it next week.  He always brought Mr. McMurrry to the Jam, where we have enjoyed Mr. McMurrry’s songs.  Both of them are wonderful men.  Ron Stillwell will be missed but never forgotten.  🙏❤️Anita Rodgers Shelton

Hardly a Sunday ever went by when Ron wouldn't wave at me from the hallway as he set up for Sunday School and I set up for worship. When we had time to talk, he'd always ask, "Are we having any great music today?" and I'd say, "Absolutely! We've got choir, folk band, handbells, organ, and piano today!" I'd ask him about his grandsons, and he'd always get tears in his eyes and say "they're doing so great. I'm so proud of them."
Ron, thank you for supporting our music ministries and for starting every clap in worship, every Sunday, every time.

To Stillwell family -- I have so many memories of all of us at Owenwood. There are no words to tell you how much he will be missed.  I have so many memories of all of us at church. 
Becky just cling to your family and the Lord. It does not make any better but somehow it is easier.

My mom and dad, Morris and Sonja Holman, and my family, Jim, Holli, Zeke, and Jake, knew Ron and Becky for years. He was truly one of the kindest, sweetest, and loving men we have ever known. He was a member of my dad’s Sunday school class at WRUMC and consistently called my mom to check on her after my dad’s unexpected passing in 2019. His daughter took care of our boys at the after school program they attended in elementary, and Becky was the youth director at WRUMC when our boys were young. My mom is heartbroken, as we are. We has one of the best and will be truly missed! Rest in peace, Ron!

What a wonderful gentle soul.  Ron always had a smile. How proud he was of his family.

We will never forget Ron and the impact he had on our family. He was one of the first friendly faces to welcome us at WRUMC, and made sure to always say hi every week. He made everyone around him feel special, loved and supported. I’ll always cherish how he helped me set up an art show in his real estate office, and how he made all the kids festivities at church so special and fun. My wish is that we can all be like Ron, he shared the love of Jesus with everyone in so many ways; whether you saw him weekly or randomly around the neighborhood, he treated you like a cherished old friend. 
We send all our love to Becky and his family, their generosity and kindness goes far and wide. 

In 2013 our family met Ron and he embraced us the moment we met. Always happy  watching and seeing and being present in the friendships that his adult children & grandchildren had created. We simply became family and Ron could be found watching Thomas’  daily football practices and Summers games…  just as any grandpa would.  Always so happy and so proud. Dear family with you,  we grieve and with you we will remember Ron  forever  and ever. May his sweet soul rest in amazing peace and grace. Thank you Ron for loving us and thank you family for sharing his life with us.

I am so sorry for your loss!  Ron was the sweetest and kindest man and fiercely loved each of you!!  He is safe in the arms of Jesus now watching over you all till one day you all see him again!!  Oh what a day that will be! You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you navigate the future!

Ron was the sweetest man. I spent a lot of time in the ERA office as a kid.  Ron would always go out of his way to joke with me and give me something interesting to do. He probably did this to keep me from bugging him while he was working but I could never have known that at the time by the way he orchestrated the tasks to make them fun.  Special special man.

Ron was a sweet and loving man and a fixture at White Rock Methodist Church.  Ron was a special person and always had time to wave and say hello and make lots of good coffee.  
What a worker! Some of our great memories are with Ron leading the pack of volunteers with People Helping People.   He never got tired and stayed working to the end of our project.   Ron was a favorite of Dallas's and mine.  We will miss him greatly and my heart goes out to Becky and the family.

I will remember Ron for his ability to always make me smile and know I was in the presence of someone special and his love of God enveloped me like a warm blanket on a cold day.

A great man does not seek applause or place; he seeks for truth; he seeks the road to happiness, and what he ascertains, he gives to others.  The great man is he who does not lose his child's-heart.  A great man is different from an eminent one in that he is ready to be the servant of the word of God.

Ron is the essence of a great man, and I will always feel his spirit and that warm blanket when I think of him.

Such a nice man! A friend of my Dad's (Ken Mooter), he always spoke to me when I would go back to visit WRUMC. He will be missed. May Becky and her family be surrounded by friends at this time.

Our condolences to the Stillwell/Guerra family. Ron was a wonderful man who always had a smile on his face. We worked with him on several People Helping People houses. No one worked harder or accomplished more than Ron on those homes! We sat in front of him and Becky at church for many years and enjoyed seeing his welcoming smile and hearing his kind words. He was a special person. God bless.

I have not been a member of WRUMC for very long. Ron is one of the very first special people who welcomed me to the church. My favorite memory with him will always be giving the sign of peace during the service. He would walk down the aisle with his wonderful smile and we would “high five” each other. A truly special gift to us from God. We love you Ron ❤️

Ever since we met when our boys were young, sweet Mr. Stillwell was always there. He was at everything. Every sporting event, everything his grandsons were a part of, he was there. I always admired his kindness and his gentle nature.  May you have so much comfort in knowing what an amazing father and husband he was, and how much he adored his entire family. We extend our very deepest condolences to the entire Stillwell family.

Ron was such a ray of sunshine in this world. The Rust kiddos were convinced he walked on water….and I don’t think they were wrong. Each Sunday morning he welcomed our bunch with great big hugs. And each week he would beg Jon to play that banjo on that stage!  He poked and played with the kids during the church service (don’t tell Mitchell), which helped me not feel so stressed out about keeping them still and quiet! He truly showed God’s love every time we were around him.  We are so grateful we were able to experience that genuine love for others from Ron! 

I am so sorry for your loss Becky.  My familiy’s heart and prayers are with you and your family.  

The couple of times I had the honor to meet Ron, I vividly remember how much I liked him.  He was the life of the room yet humble at the same time.  

My heart is sadden to hear the news of Ronald’s passing. I remember always wanting to sit by him at family reunions because he told such great stories and had a wonderful sense of humor. I think he was always Bigmama’s favorite .  Rest in peace Ronald, you will surely be missed.

I’ll always remember the way he yelled, “KELLY!” Probably because we were doing something obnoxious at 12 am. He was a great man- hard working and kind. Those are the words that come to my mind when I think of Ron.

Rob was such a gentleman, friendly, helpful, and a man who lived to serve.  We will miss his presence, his willing spirit, and humility of service at the  White Rock Lions Club. We offer heartfelt prayers for comfort and peace to his loving family.
