

Romona Elizabeth Wilson, 74, passed away January 21, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on February 19, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Louis Francis Potter and Sarah Elizabeth Turner. In her spare time Romona enjoyed going to church, studying her bible, cooking and hosting teas and dinner parties with her family and friends. She also loved shopping, eating out, volunteering for those in need and congregating with people and going to her grandchildren's sporting events.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a woman that loved the Lord and would do anything for her family and friends, she especially loved her husband, kids, grandchildren and great-granddaughter beyond measure. Romona was most proud of accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior, 49 years of marriage and raising a devout and wonderful family.
Romona is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Sarah Potter and brother, Herbert Potter. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Fred Wilson of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Carolyn Riner of Caddo Mills, Texas; son, Matthew Wilson and wife, Deonna of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren, Michael and Jasmine French, Steven Riner, Sarah Riner, Anna Wilson and Nathanael Wilson; great-granddaughter, River Honey Michelle French; siblings, Lorin and Fran Potter, Delores Lelsz, Elaine and Brian Reed as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
