Rowdy Rod Was my friend mentor and producer he produce my only album the million dollar mouthpiece so far and I love him for everything that he’s done for me as a man and as a producer he opened his heart and his home to me with his family and everything else that was in his life I love them I will miss him dearly in the world is a lesser place without him I love you Rowdy Rod God bless you

My deepest condolences to all who love Rod. I’ll never forget the times he, Toni, Tracy, Randy, my sis and I shared as young adults. We shared such crazy fun back in the day. Though we lost touch over the years I’m glad we reconnected though facebook. I’ll never forget Rod. Always so cool and kind to me. RIP Friend. Wishing peace for the Benson siblings and family. “Rowdy Rod” was my first producer! The first to put me in a booth and believed in me more than I believed in myself. We were from the same neighborhood and as destiny would have it we  were neighbors when our parents moved from the neighborhood  for a better life.
